Our debut at the fun-filled Great Barrier Reef Masters Games was an absolute slam dunk! Over four sun-soaked days in Cairns, the Harbour City Breakers joined a vibrant community of athletes for some serious competition and even better memories. We loved every second of testing our skills against elite teams from all over the Australian east coast while soaking in the tropical vibes.

We decided to shake things up this year by blending our talented players from various divisions into one powerhouse women's team! The chemistry was instant as we embraced the thrill of the game and proudly wore our club colors. Off the court, the laughter never stopped, proving that the Breakers spirit is stronger than ever.

The competition was fierce but our energy was higher! We battled through a series of intense matchups against both old rivals and fresh faces. Every quarter was a chance to prove our grit and show the masters basketball world exactly what the Breakers are made of during this epic Queensland campaign.
Hard work pays off! We are thrilled to bring home the Bronze Medal and secure a brilliant Third Place finish in our very first appearance at this event. Watching a brand-new squad find their rhythm, execute plays, and support each other through every whistle was a highlight. This podium finish is a testament to our communication, dedication, and the sheer joy of playing basketball together in paradise.
